Bio

Introduction:

My father, Mr. James Benton Banks, was a son of the soil. He was born in Little Cayman, Cayman Islands on 4 December, 1938 to the late Guy Banks and Mrs. Vinoila Banks, Nee Grant. At the age of 16, he went to sea as most Caymanian men did in those days and soon after marrying my mother, he continued to support his family in this way for over twenty-five years until he & his brothers and his father founded Cayman Energy Limited with the late Captain Vanderlinde and others. Cayman Energy was a ship to ship oil transfer company. Two oil tanker and super tankers.
