Bio
Introduction:
I nominate the above mentioned person for the above mentioned category as he is one of Cayman's Seafaring pioneers for over 35+ years. He sailed on numerous ships/vessels such as the Goldfield, The Wilson, Bulkstar, J.A. Quitman, Mer Co, National Bulk Carriers, etc. As Quarter Master, Mr. Ducon made a lifelong career out of Seafaring and so did four of his sons (of his ten children) that went to Sea. His Sons Leroy Ducon, Isaac Shirland, Henry Ormon, and Bergman Oswell all helped to contribute to the Cayman Island's Development through their father's successful Seafaring career. Ducon was known by all that sailed and worked with him to be very hard working and well respected.
