Mr. Davis Cavener Ebanks, Cavy, volunteered for the British Royal Trinidadian Navy in 1941 and served for four years. He transitioned into a full seafaring career, sailing for over 40 years. He sailed under the command of the US Army transport service during many of the post WWII conflicts. He was a Master Boiler Maker. Cavy was married and had four children. His granddaughter recently retired from the US Army after 20 years of service in Special Forces Command. Mr. Ebanks passed away in Louisiana in 2009.
