Introduction:
Mr Albun Athington Whittaker 1 was born in 1916 at age of 16 he was called to sea and served for deputy in at age of 16 where he served first as oil man working his way up to assistant chief enginner . He put his life in danger for many years having been thru two ships going down and saved many lifes , in 1939 he was again called to the seas and joined the Trindad boys to fight World War 11 until 1945 wher he was received right honorable metal of honor. He immediately return to the seas and served until 1957. He again received high honors on his return to our Islands and help form the Seafares Assoction.
