Introduction:
While at sea C.C. funded the building of his family home by sending an allotment home each month. This money also helped to feed & help raise his younger siblings. He was the oldest child, 17 years old. To be so young to take on such a huge responsibility is very admirable. Therefore I feel his contribution which helped the whole family is commendable.
