See attached Veterans account of Cavell Glidden's service in British Navy and Army 1940-1947. After returning from the War in 1947 he continued to make a living as a seafarer until mid 60s and was involved in managing the family business there on. Prior to giving up seafaring, Cavell has acquired Chief Mate license.
