Introduction:

DD-WB Bert Mervin Ebanks 1930 to 2003 Bert started his seafaring career at age 15, with his grand father in the Turtling trade to the Moskito Cays and eventually were successful in getting a job on a ship in Tampa Fla. He sailed for various company starting as a deck ahnd and working his way up as opportunities allowed.
