Bio
Introduction:
He is a Caymanian who sailed the seas from a very young age ( 12 years old) and continued the seafaring tradition of his forefathers. He went on to be a Life long civil servant serving in the Police Force for 15 years and later at the Port Authority for 18 years as chief security officer retiring due to health reasons.
He would often sit us children down an tell us about his experiences while at sea and during his tenure in the police force. One story I cannot forget was the time he saw a pod of whales that looked as big as West Bay in the Atlantic near Bermuda on his return leg from South America. He was so scared he ran and told the Captain there was land ahead, only to be assured by the captain that what he was seeing was a large pod of Whales and they would get out of the way of the ship.
