Introduction:
Rupert went to sea at age 17 from 1959 to 1964 during this time I worked for two shipping companies, and served on four different ships, His seagoing career experience took him from a wiper in engine room , to oiler, reaching the level of Maintenance Man/Engine Room Storekeeper, and Junior Engineer. This was a very rewarding experience which allowed him to get paid and see the world. Ports of call included Aruba, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Egypt, England, Greece, Holland, Italy, Japan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Panama, Peru, USA and Venezuela . This was one of the most educating experiences of his life and what not have exchanged it for anything in world.
