Introduction:
Aussie started his seafaring career on National Bulk Carrier ship, SS Ore Transport. Later transferred to SS Bulk Oil. He was junior engineer and there was an explosion on board the ship. He was on watch in the engine room so he had to shut down the engines as a result he was among the last to leave the ship. The ship was towed to Brest, France. The crew was flown here the incident was on his mind until he died.
