Introduction:

I nominate the above person Ollen Mclaughlin, for the Pioneer Award for his time and dedication at working at sea. Ollen left home to go to sea at 17+ and spent his 18th birthday in France waiting to board his ship. Ollen sailed on the Imperial Ottawa, Ore Venus, Ore Jupiter, SS Cavalla and the Phosphore Conveyor. Ollen provide for and supported his family while at sea.
