Joseph H. Ebanks of Boatswain Bay, West Bay, Grand Cayman
Started his life as a Seafarer in 1937 at the tender age of 13 years when he went to the Mosquito Keys and made many rough sailing trips for 7 years
At the age of 20/21 years he started to sail with National Bulk carriers until the 1960's
When he settled home he started building Catboats and he taught his younger brothers and others the art of boat building.
He sailed for many years in the Regatta Boat Races.
He sailed in the Boats he built and was a Fisherman who shared his catch with family and neighbors.
At age 96 years (once he is in a talkative mood) he still reminisce on his Seafaring Days.
