Bio

Introduction:
Bradley Joseph Hinds, was born January 12, 1887 in South Sound, Grand Cayman. He served as a crew member in several roles for many years out of Mobile, Alabama aboard pilot boats monitoring one of the busiest commercial harbors in the western hemisphere at the time. During this time, his wife, Elizabeth MaryAnn (Betty) Hinds raised his children, John, Jen and Rita, back in South Sound, Grand Cayman. After a career at sea, he returned home for good to Grand Cayman, and passed in 1977 in his sleep, a year before the untimely death of his son, also an accomplished seaman, in a helicopter crash.
