Introduction:

I submit this nomination under PIONEER not only for excelling in his area aboard the Steamships but for embracing the opportunity to be an ambassador to our country on the Passenger Ship during this time. John Stanley Douglas born on 17th October, 1935, went to sea at 19yrs old for the first time in 1955. Caymanian Seamen in general were acknowledged and glorified for their ability to excel in their field/area of work and their friendly personalities making them known as the greatest seamen worldwide. However, John was given the pleasure of extending his prideful reach into Tourism, by speaking and portraying to the foreign people of the beauty and friendliness of our islands when he sailed as an Officer aboard a Passenger Ship. 1955 ' 1956 - Ordinary Seaman - S.S.
